Oakland raised and still here. Running social for Mayor Barbara Lee means posting about the city that raised me.
I found my lane in social by accident. I was pitching a trailer concept for Tea Time With Aisha, walking our editors through how it should be cut, and when the thing in my head showed up on screen I knew that was the feeling I wanted to keep chasing.
I watch the first three seconds of everything, because if the hook isn't there nothing after it matters. Off the clock I'm singing, dancing, with my family, or watching the Valkyries with my whole chest.
City hall, nonprofits, a podcast, and a tech startup. Same job every time: make something people actually stop for, then read the numbers and do it better.
